A second hand Dolce & Gabbana dress gives you two things. A stylish way to dress for less cash and a sustainable way of dressing in one of the designer’s signature styles. Real style never dates and is effortless. You wear the dress, not the other way around.

There has never been a better time to look for preloved Dolce & Gabbana dresses as more people catch on to the idea of breathing new life into second hand clothes. For many, its not just about the savings. A Dolce & Gabbana dress is the very opposite of today’s fast fashion – every dress is made inhouse using only the finest Italian artisan craftsmanship. There are not many brands you can say that about. The work that goes into each dress is easy to grasp and many Dolce & Gabbana dress styles are classics. So why not snag a bargain? There are always going to be people who only wear a dress once. Their loss is your gain. You’ll also reduce the chance of being caught wearing the same dress as someone else. No wonder the second hand designer dress market is growing in popularity.

At A Good Frock I always aim to have a selection of second hand Dolce & Gabbana dresses in stock. It’s hard not to have favourites, even for me. So here are a few I particularly like.

Second Hand Dolce & Gabbana Dresses

This purple and green floral dress from Dolce & Gabbana started life in Harrods. A size UK 16 (IT48) it may run slightly neat, so please ask me for measurements. It’s beautifully crafted with an internal bustier to give you a great shape and both the floral fabric and the lining are a silk and elastane blend. As you might expect of a Dolce & Gabbana dress there is ruching in all the right places. In fantastic condition and only £550. A perfect, wear-day-to- evening dress.

Next up is this second hand Dolce & Gabbana floral dress with a repeated green and white floral pattern on a black background. It falls to below the knee and is in very good condition – what I would call ‘worn once’ condition. The outer floral fabric is viscose, and the lining is a silk and elastane blend. The shoulder straps are reassuringly broad – a style commonly associated with the brand. Another dress versatile enough to be worn day-to- evening.

Or what about this slinky leopard print Dolce & Gabbana dress? This mid-to-lightweight dress has a lovely sheen to the fabric making it a sophisticated choice for an evening dress. The design of the neckline deliberately reveals the black bustier underneath the leopard print. Midi length with adjustable straps. A UK 10 (IT 42). Super sexy.

Finally, what about this Dolce & Gabbana green leopard print silk dress? Both the leopard print fabric and the lining are a silk and elastane blend with ruching across the hips and skirt, so it drapes in all the right places. In mint condition and a UK 14 (IT 46). Dolce & Gabbana seem to feature leopard print in every collection, so this dress is unlikely to date. Really lovely.

So, there you have it. A selection of my second hand Dolce & Gabbana dresses, but do check back as I have lots more to list.
