This Dolce and Gabbana cannoli dress, in a size IT 46 / UK 14 comes in one of the designers signature styles. And what could be more typically Sicilian than cannoli? If you have not tried cannoli, you really must! This is a dress that’s equally at home in Taormina or St Ives and you’ll turn heads for all the right reasons.
The full retail price of the dress is in the region of £1900. Just over.
The shaping is utterly feminine and while it is cut for a close fit, the gentle ruching throughout and fluting, makes for a very flattering shape. It’s easy on the eye and the green base colour is very wearable and I think you could wear it all year round. You could easily team it with a cropped cardigan.
The shoulder straps are reassuringly broad to perfectly frame your collar bones. The fitted waist helps you make the most of your shape.
This Dolce and Gabbana cannoli silk dress is made from mid-weight stretch silk crepe and is fully lined in stretch green silk. Here’s what you need to know about the fabrics. The outer printed silk fabric is 94% silk and 6% elastane. Likewise the lining is 94% silk and 6% elastane. For me, this one of the designers best fabrics – not just for its beauty but also for comfort and wearability. Truly a dress for all seasons.
Naturally, the dress is made in Italy.
This is a midi dress – in my opinion the most flattering of dress lengths for most women. The length is 46″ including the straps and 40″ excluding the straps. Please contact me for more measurements / queries .
There is a little creasing from travelling and the dress is probably slightly too big for the mannequin shown.
A Good Frock’s price is £749.
