A Dolce and Gabbana polka dot dress for a timeless look. What’s not to like? For me polka dot dresses first became a thing when Julia Roberts wore one in Pretty Woman. That was back in 1990. Since then, they make a regular appearance in Dolce and Gabbana collections including 2019 and 2021. Sophisticated and elegant, a polka dot print has a timeless appeal working as day, cocktail or evening dress depending on the design. Choose a big or small print. My choice would be white on black or gold on black. For preference, it would be a silk dress or a silk blend.

The Midi Dolce and Gabbana Polka Dot Dress

This midi Dolce and Gabbana dress has everything going for it. The neckline is wider than shown in my image (it would fall off the armless mannequin otherwise) and is truly a dress for the ages. It will take you anywhere! Monica Bellucci opened one of Dolce and Gabbana’s 2019 Catwalk shows wearing this dress and it’s fabulous in every way. Heavily ruched throughout I really believe any age can wear it. The neckline and fit are truly flattering. An instant classic in my book. The outer layer is a silk stretch satin, surely one of Dolce and Gabbana’s best fabrics? I also think you could wear this at any time of year. I have held one of these dresses back for myself.

The Fil Coupé Dress

For a completely different look why not consider this Dolce And Gabbana Fil Coupé polka dress in black and gold. Designed for a flattering fit, this dress makes a perfect companion for dinner or cocktails. Retailing at £2000+, I am able to offer it at a good price. With a ruched bodice, V neck and full skirt this dress will flatter most figures. I particularly like the detailing on this dress; from the ruched top to the heavily pleated skirt, it is sure to catch the eye. The outer layer of this dress is a fine silk chiffon, and the lining is polymide. The gold on black print is very eye catching and if you wear this you are sure to turn heads wherever you go.
