Dolce and Gabbana’s leopard print dresses never seem to date.
Regardless of the seasonal variations in Dolce and Gabbana dress collections some things are a constant. There will be some florals. There will be black. And of course, there might be leopard print dresses which are strongly associated with the brand.
Dolce and Gabbana Leopard Print Dresses Make a Statement
It might not be everyone’s cup of tea but a Dolce and Gabbana leopard dress will always be a statement dress. You can dial things up or down depending on your chosen design. Personally, I think leopard print generally works better in dresses below the knee. The length kind of counterbalances the print. I’d make a different choice if my selection was a black dress (any length) or a floral (any length).
Dolce and Gabbana dresses are crammed with fabulous detailing. Their leopard print dresses are no exception. Whether you go for a shift dress or corset dress you can be certain of a flattering fit once you have honed-in on the right size.
Both corset dresses and shift dresses work well with leopard print and the most common fabric I have found are various types of silk. Usually with added elastane for stretch and the most flattering of fits. And as my mini collection shows, leopard print does not have to be brown (but often is). You can also be assured (mostly) of a heavy weight silk.
Some of My Current Collection
While most designers work to standard sizes there is almost inevitably some variation so its best to ask for measurements.
I also have a green leopard print dress. I do have more, but they are not yet listed.
Dolce and Gabbana leopard print dresses are good choice for an evening dress – whether for cocktails or dinner or clubbing. You can dial the dress up or down with the write accessories. The only word of caution worth noting is leopard print is quite a small pattern (typically) so won’t suit everyone. Taking that into account if you do opt for animal print, you’ll certainly make an entrance.
